Best little greasy spoon in St. Louis. Fight me. Don't get to come here nearly as often as I'd like, if it were around the corner from me, it'd probably be a weekly visit. Never had bad service. Great staff. Reminds me of one of those old timey breakfast places you don't see to much anymore. Highly recommend!
Enjoyed a birthday brunch here. Liked having option to eat outside. Menu heavily weighted towards breakfast, but does have other options, and you can order from the whole menu at any time. I ordered a slinger (pictured after I already put a bunch of hot sauce onto it), which was tasty, generously portioned, and came with 2 slices of toast. My wife ordered Double Up Breakfast, which was also good and generously portioned. Daughter ordered a Cajun Burger. It seemed to be a bit too drenched in some brown (chipotle?) sauce, but big and yummy. Our waitress, Ashley, was very attentive, kept topping off our water and asking if we needed anything else. We plan to be back soon.
What a great hidden gem! Went here because someone we know started working here and left with a new favorite place to go! Big servings of great food (extra large eggs!) and great people working! My coffee cup stayed full and the kitchen was quick to get our food out!
Wow. Wow. Wow. Best. Hash browns. Ever! We came here due to local and it looked like a great breakfast spot. Right when we walked up you could see all the waitresses having conversations with all the regulars here. Everyone was so nice and just on top of everything! The menu has choices for everyone and is priced very fair. I ordered the Popeye omelette and my fiancé ordered the Arch Skillet. The food was so good but the hash browns were absolutely AMAZING! The flavor was top notch. The cook on them was absolutely perfect. I will be coming back here for the service and food but the hash browns are the best hash browns I've ever had! I asked the waitress if they made them a special way and she said "no, but next time you should try the fries!" Well I will be back again and again but it will be the tough decision between breakfast or lunch!
